12 Jan Raptor Performance Group Steering Tie Rod Testing
This particular trail is one of my favorites in Barstow California. ย It offers some amazing tight rally style twisties with some long floating compression jumps thrown into the mix. ย It’s Especially good for Tie Rod testing because you are constantly on the wheel counter steering and slamming into rocks. ย This little section doesn’t offer the whoopiest of areas, but it’s still fun non the less.
Needless to say, everything with the steering tie rods went great. ย We had no issues what so ever and couldn’t have asked for a better day. ย The behavior of the truck is dramatically improved over the OE application. ย The steering in now direct, braking bumps don’t jar the wheel from side to side like in the past and the overall package gets a huge thumbs up. ย We truly couldn’t be happier with the results of our new Aluminum Steering Tie Rods.
